The Morrisby Report
The Morrisby Report provides much of the information needed to make important decisions about the future.
It is most often used with students in Year 10,11 and 12 but works equally well with adults who are deciding on a career, returning to study, in career transition, or are thinking about changing careers. It is a very popular test used throughout Victoria and NSW with approximately 80% of private schools using it annually. Now, Perth residents have the chance to access this outstanding report via the sole Morrisby reseller in WA.
The pen and paper test takes 3.5 hours with a short break in the middle. A 22 page report is generated.
The price includes the testing day, data analysis by trained psychologists and 1:1 feedback (at a later date at a time that suits you) with a trained professional with teaching qualifications and experience and coaching and training expertise.
YOUR MORRISBY REPORT
- contains a profile of your ability structure, learning style, problem solving style and inner and outer confidence and the implications this has for study and career choice. This, plus some aspects of personality are measured by the Morrisby Profile (MP).
- contains career interests split into 37 different scales, as measured by the Morrisby Careers Questionnaire (MCQ).
- contains 12 careers suggestions which are based upon the results from the MP and MCQ combined. The selection of the career suggestions is a complex process built and refined over several years, making this a sensitive system. It is as close to an ‘expert system’ as is available for careers guidance.
- online access to report and a host of links to Australian career websites and job information.
The report is easy to read and builds a picture of the individuals talents, potential and preferences. Access to objective information is valuable in guidance as it lessens the emphasis on the individual having an accurate self perception, a clear view of their strengths, and a clear understanding of the world of work when discussing career options.
The report is provided in hardcopy but access to a personal space on the http://www.morrisby.com/ website gives access to additional features including links to on-line career information sources and, for those about to apply for tertiary education, a study interests questionnaire.
The Morrisby Profile is regularly reviewed and registered by the Psychological Testing Centre (PTC), a division of the British Psychological Society (BPS).
Tentative testing day will be on Saturday, June 28th. Choose either AM or PM session.

The all inclusive price of testing, reporting, and 1:1 feedback is 5 for students at secondary school, TAFE or Uni or HCC holders and 0 for adults who are working.
