Phoenix Arizona HUD Housing Counseling Training Academy

The National Community Reinvestment Coalition Housing Counseling Network is offering comprehensive housing counseling training to professional staff affiliated with HUD Certified Counseling Agencies at the Sheraton Crescent Hotel in Phoenix, AZ from Monday, January 6 through Friday, January 10, 2014. Registration will close on Monday, January 6, 2014.
The curriculum at the week-long event includes the courses below. Please note that many of the following courses occur simultaneously. You will be directed to choose your course(s) through the registration form. Registrants must choose course dates that do not conflict.

•FH 201- It’s the Law: Fair Housing, Fair Lending and Civil Rights
January 8-9:
•FH 202- Identifying Mortgage Fraud and Fair Lending Violations
January 6:
•HC 106- Housing Counseling for Homeless Families and Single Adults
January 7:
•HC 115-Leadership in Counseling
January 8:
•FH 204-Introduction to the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act
January 9:
•HC 112-FEMA and Victims of Disaster
January 10:
•HC 111-Providing Housing Counseling and Direct Services to Homeowners Transitioning to Rental Housing

NCRC is offering (30 travel or 30 lodging) scholarships to assist organizations that have a financial need and would like to send staff to attend the Phoenix, AZ HUD Housing Counseling Training Academy. Please click here to apply. Participation is open to all not-for-profit organizations and state or local agencies that provide housing counseling services. This training is provided by the NCRC Housing Counseling Network under a grant from the United State Department of Housing & Urban Development Office of Housing Counseling.
